Masticore hits the board as a regenerating, repeatable pinger that can answer weenie boards and go infinite with Polyraptor — the catch is a discard-a-card upkeep tax that ends the party if you can't feed it. Run it when you can exploit the ability; skip it if your deck can't sustain the hand cost.
