Mantle of Webs sees essentially no play in Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, or Vintage — formats that move too fast to care about a one-mana aura with no offensive upside. Pauper is its most plausible non-Commander home, where defensive bodies and cheap auras occasionally matter, but it still sits well outside the mainstream. In Commander, token strategies piloted by commanders like Ishkanah, Grafwidow or Trostani, Selesnya's Voice can get real value from a single creature soaking up an entire attack, and the one-mana entry cost means it rarely feels like a wasted slot.
