Make Disappear counters any spell for two mana — the catch is a casualty cost of one that lets your opponent pay two to bail out. In creature-heavy decks that generate disposable tokens, that rider is nearly irrelevant, making this a clean Counterspell variant at a negligible price point.

In Commander, Make Disappear earns its slot in token-based blue decks where sacrificing a 1/1 is indistinguishable from paying no cost at all — Pauper staple logic applies here too, since cheap interaction is scarce in that format and the casualty clause rarely gets punished. In Modern and Pioneer, the two-mana slot is crowded with unconditional counters, so Make Disappear only shows up in shells that already want a sacrifice outlet and treat the body as a bonus. Legacy and Vintage have Force of Will and Mana Drain; Make Disappear doesn't compete there outside of budget or casual play.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Make Disappear is deep bulk — you're essentially getting it for free when buying a package of interaction. That price is stable; it's a common with no meaningful reprint demand and no scarcity driving it up.
