Lymph Sliver gives every Sliver you control absorb 1, turning your board into a wall of damage-reduction that forces opponents to commit more resources to kill anything. The catch is that absorb doesn't stack — running multiples is redundant — so one copy is the ceiling.

Commander is where Lymph Sliver earns its slot, specifically in dedicated Sliver tribal builds under commanders like The First Sliver or Sliver Overlord, where the absorb effect blankets an entire board of creatures and makes combat math miserable for opponents. In Legacy and Vintage, Slivers aren't a competitive archetype and Lymph Sliver isn't changing that — it's too slow and narrow for those formats.
