Commander is where Living Conundrum has the most plausible home, slotting into five-color or domain strategies — Jared Carthalion, Morophon, or any Golos-era goodstuff pile that already wants a diverse land base will get a generously sized creature for three mana with no further investment. In competitive 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, a three-mana vanilla beater with no enters-the-battlefield effect and no built-in protection doesn't clear the bar, even at maximum size.
