Jared Carthalion
Legendary Planeswalker — Jared
+1: Create a 3/3 Kavu creature token with trample that's all colors.
−3: Choose up to two target creatures. For each of them, put a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the number of colors it is.
−6: Return target multicolored card from your graveyard to your hand. If that card was all colors, draw a card and create two Treasure tokens.

Jared Carthalion enters the battlefield and immediately demands attention — he accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever opponents deal damage to him, then converts those counters into monarch-stealing muscle that can threaten the table. The catch is that he costs five mana for a 3/3 with no built-in evasion, so he needs support to survive long enough to pay off.
Format Analysis

Jared Carthalion is a Commander card in every meaningful sense — the monarch mechanic, the political damage-redirection gameplay, and the five-mana cost all point squarely at the 100-card casual format where he has the tools and the time to matter. In Legacy and Vintage he's technically legal but will never see a sleeve outside of a Commander night; five mana for a creature with no immediate impact doesn't compete in those formats. Oathbreaker shares Commander's multiplayer DNA and is the only other context where Jared's counter-accumulation and monarch synergies could realistically function.
