Commander is where Legacy Weapon actually lives — five-color decks with reliable fixing can absorb the activation cost, and the indestructible body means removal spells bounce off it all day. In Legacy and Vintage, seven-mana artifacts that require WUBRG to do anything don't compete; those formats close games before Legacy Weapon ever threatens to matter.
