Kytheon's Tactics gives your entire team +1/+1 and vigilance until end of turn — relevant burst in a go-wide white deck, but three mana for a sorcery that does nothing on an empty board keeps it from being a staple. It earns its slot only if you're consistently swinging with four or more creatures.

Kytheon's Tactics is a niche role-player in Commander, where go-wide token strategies — Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Rhys the Redeemed, or Isshin, Two Heavens as One — can occasionally use a pump spell that also grants vigilance to hold back blockers. Outside Commander, it sees essentially no competitive play: Modern and Pioneer have far more efficient options, and even in Pauper, where commons rule, a three-mana sorcery pump spell competes with better combat tricks. Legacy and Vintage won't touch it.

Price Context
Current price
$0.08 bulk tier
At $0.08, Kytheon's Tactics is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and shipping, not the card itself. Bulk commons rarely move unless a new commander pushes token-wide vigilance synergies into the spotlight, so don't expect this price to change.
