Kor Skyfisher card art
Kor Skyfisher is a two-mana 2/3 flyer with a built-in bounce trigger — the cost is replaying a land or permanent on entry, which looks like a drawback until you realize it's actually a resource when paired with Intruder Alarm or God-Eternal Oketra. The verdict: unplayable in a vacuum, busted in the right engine.

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
God-Eternal Oketra

God-Eternal Oketra

57.7% of decks · synergy 0.57

God-Eternal Oketra turns every Kor Skyfisher cast into a free 4/4 Zombie token, and bouncing Skyfisher back to hand means you can recast it to manufacture another token — turning a single card into an infinite token engine with the right mana outlet.

02
Karametra, God of Harvests

Karametra, God of Harvests

17.1% of decks · synergy 0.17

Karametra, God of Harvests triggers on creature casts, so each Kor Skyfisher recast fetches a basic land — bouncing Skyfisher to hand and replaying it repeatedly accelerates you through your entire basic land package faster than almost any ramp spell.

03
Chulane, Teller of Tales

Chulane, Teller of Tales

12.2% of decks · synergy 0.12

Chulane, Teller of Tales draws a card and puts a land into play on each creature cast, which means Kor Skyfisher's self-bounce becomes pure card advantage — every loop nets you land drops and cards rather than costing you anything.

oathbreaker

Kor Skyfisher is a Pauper staple, where a 2/3 flyer at two mana is legitimately above the curve and the bounce synergizes with Glint Hawk–style artifact loops. In Legacy and Vintage it sees near-zero play — the power bar is simply too high for a creature doing this little on rate. Commander is where Kor Skyfisher earns real inclusion, but only in specific shells: bounce-matters commanders, token doublers, or landfall engines that reward replaying a creature repeatedly. Outside those contexts it is a 2/3 flyer with a downside, and you can do better.

Price Context

Current price

$0.66 bulk tier

At $0.66, Kor Skyfisher is deep bulk — there is no financial barrier to running it. The price reflects its narrow applicability: high demand in Pauper keeps it from hitting true bulk-bin territory, but it will not appreciate meaningfully without a new combo partner pushing it into Commander at scale.
