Commander is where Jirina, Dauntless General actually gets to do her job — a 99-card singleton format with 40 life gives the counter-stacking engine enough time to matter, and Human tribal has the critical mass of support pieces to build around her properly. In Modern and Pioneer she's legal but buried: three mana for a 3/3 that needs to attack to generate value is too slow for those formats' kill clocks, and she doesn't slot into any established archetype. Legacy and Vintage are the same story, just more extreme — she's not doing anything those formats care about. Oathbreaker is worth a look in a Human-heavy build, since the compressed game length is offset by the lower starting life total and the format's tolerance for synergy-first strategies.
