Invisible Stalker card art
Invisible Stalker connects every single combat step — hexproof and unblockable on a two-mana body means whatever you strap to it deals damage, guaranteed. Anowon, the Ruin Thief turns that guaranteed damage into guaranteed mill and card draw, which is why the Stalker shows up in over 80% of Anowon lists.

Anowon, the Ruin Thief

Anowon, the Ruin Thief

81.3% of decks · synergy 0.75

Anowon, the Ruin Thief needs rogues that connect reliably, and Invisible Stalker is the safest trigger in the deck — hexproof shuts off removal, unblockable shuts off chump blocks, and every hit mills three and draws a card.

Satoru Umezawa

Satoru Umezawa

55.2% of decks · synergy 0.49

Satoru Umezawa rewards any creature that attacks unblocked with a free ninjutsu trigger, and Invisible Stalker is an unconditional delivery mechanism — it gets in turn three and keeps getting in regardless of the board state.

Mimeoplasm, Revered One

Mimeoplasm, Revered One

52.2% of decks · synergy 0.49

Mimeoplasm, Revered One wants a evasive body to load counters onto, and Invisible Stalker's hexproof means the investment survives targeted removal long enough to actually kill someone.

Commander is where Invisible Stalker does its best work — the multiplayer environment means opponents always have blockers, removal is everywhere, and a guaranteed-connection attacker is disproportionately valuable for any strategy that taxes combat damage. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; two mana for a 1/1 with no enters-the-battlefield effect doesn't compete in those formats even with the evasion package. Modern is the one constructed format where it occasionally surfaces in Aura-based combo shells alongside Ethereal Armor effects, but it's fringe there. The Stalker's home is Commander, full stop.
