Integrity // Intervention gives you a pump-plus-lifelink instant on one half and a direct-damage-plus-lifegain finisher on the other — two relevant modes stapled together for one or three mana. The ceiling is real in aggressive Boros builds, but neither half is efficient enough to earn a slot in most Commander lists.

In Commander, Integrity // Intervention is a role-player at best — it shows up in Feather, the Redeemed lists specifically because Feather's recursion engine makes cheap cantrip-adjacent instants worth recurring, not because the card is generically powerful. In Modern and Pioneer, neither half clears the bar for competitive play: Integrity competes with Might of Old Krosa and Giant Growth variants that do more for less, and Intervention's three-mana rate is too slow for a format running Lightning Bolt. Legacy and Vintage don't give it a second look. The card's honest home is a budget Boros aggro brew in Pioneer or a Feather Commander list where the split-card flexibility — instant speed, two relevant modes — justifies the slot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Integrity // Intervention is deep bulk — you're not buying it for value, you're buying it because it's nearly free. Bulk rares don't appreciate, and this one won't be the exception, but at that price the only question is whether it earns its slot in your deck.
