Imperious Perfect puts a 1/1 Elf Warrior into play every turn for free and pumps your whole tribe — that's a two-mana card doing the work of two separate pieces. Pair it with Intruder Alarm and any other Elf that taps for mana and the engine runs away instantly; even without the combo, Ezuri, Renegade Leader decks treat it as an auto-include.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Imperious Perfect feeds Ezuri, Renegade Leader exactly what he wants — a free Elf every upkeep that immediately becomes a target for overrun activations and pushes the board-wide +3/+3 trample over the top.

Lathril, Blade of the Elves
Lathril, Blade of the Elves scales her tap ability off total Elf count, so the free token Imperious Perfect generates each upkeep is a direct +2 life drain per activation — it's incremental advantage that compounds fast.

High Perfect Morcant
High Perfect Morcant cares about Elves entering the battlefield, and Imperious Perfect delivers one per turn while also applying a static pump that makes every Elf on board a more threatening attacker.

Abomination of Llanowar
Abomination of Llanowar's power scales with Elf count in play and graveyard, so Imperious Perfect does double duty — raising the headcount that makes Abomination larger while providing a continuous token stream.

Marwyn, the Nurturer
Each token Imperious Perfect creates is an Elf entering the battlefield, which triggers Marwyn, the Nurturer's +1/+1 counter ability and grows her mana output; the static lord bonus then makes Marwyn herself hit harder as a late-game attacker.

Commander is where Imperious Perfect lives — the 100-card singleton format gives Elf tribal enough room to assemble the redundant pieces that make a repeating token generator and lord genuinely dangerous. In competitive Modern and Legacy Elf builds the card has seen fringe play, but the three-mana slot is brutally contested and faster Elf payoffs usually win out. Pioneer Elf strategies are shallow enough that Imperious Perfect can make a roster, though it rarely defines the archetype. Outside of Commander, treat it as a role-player rather than a pillar.

Current price
$0.59 bulk tier
At $0.59, Imperious Perfect sits comfortably in bulk territory despite being a near-staple in multiple high-population Commander archetypes. That price makes it an easy pickup — it won't spike dramatically, but it also won't get cheaper, and there's no reason to wait.
