Hop to It puts a 1/1 Rabbit token into play for each tapped creature you control — at instant speed, at the end of combat, that number gets large fast. Finneas, Ace Archer turns every one of those Rabbits into a damage source the moment they land, which is why the two cards are almost inseparable in the lists that run either.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Finneas, Ace Archer
Finneas, Ace Archer commands 61% of eligible decks to include Hop to It for an obvious reason: Finneas pings for each Rabbit you control, so resolving Hop to It after a full swing converts your entire attacking board into a burn payload the same turn. The token-to-damage pipeline is immediate and requires no additional setup.

Cadira, Caller of the Small
Cadira, Caller of the Small already wants to attack with cheap token creatures, and Hop to It rewards every swung creature with a follow-up Rabbit — the more tokens Cadira generates, the more attackers you untap with, the bigger the Hop to It return gets.

Silverquill, the Disputant
Silverquill, the Disputant cares about token quantity and uses them as political currency and combat fodder; Hop to It spikes that count at the end of any combat step where the board is committed, giving the deck a burst of Rabbits when it needs a sudden blocker wall or sacrifice fodder.

Baylen, the Haymaker
Baylen, the Haymaker scales on the number of creatures that attacked, and Hop to It converts that same tapped board into a fresh wave of Rabbits — the two cards feed the same math from opposite directions, one counting attackers, one rewarding them.

Arabella, Abandoned Doll
Arabella, Abandoned Doll pings each opponent when tokens enter, so Hop to It arriving with a full board of tapped creatures turns a single instant into a multi-opponent damage burst with no additional investment.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Hop to It is a Commander card — the token payoff compounds across a wide board in ways that a one-on-one format rarely enables. In 60-card constructed it's a win-more piece: you need a full board of tapped creatures to generate meaningful value, and at that point most games are already decided. The card is legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, and Vintage, but don't expect it to do real work in any of them; the lack of a direct damage conversion or an enters-the-battlefield trigger means competitive formats will look past it. Oathbreaker shares enough of Commander's token-synergy density that the card is at least playable there. Pauper is the only format where it's not legal.

Price Context
Current price
$0.77 bulk tier
At $0.77, Hop to It sits firmly in bulk territory, which is accurate given that it only earns a slot in dedicated Rabbit or token-counting shells. The price should stay flat unless a future commander pushes Rabbit tribal harder than Finneas, Ace Archer already does.
