Haphazard Bombardment

Enchantment

When this enchantment enters, choose four nonenchantment permanents you don't control and put an aim counter on each of them.
At the beginning of your end step, if two or more permanents you don't control have an aim counter on them, destroy one of those permanents at random.

Haphazard Bombardment card art
Haphazard Bombardment threatens to destroy any four permanents on the board — including lands — for six mana, but the randomness of which permanents actually die makes it nearly unplayable in competitive contexts. When your six-mana spell might kill your own stuff or fizzle against token armies, there are better ways to spend the turn.

Haphazard Bombardment is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but sees essentially no play in any of them. In Commander, six mana for a slow-ticking, randomized removal spell is a hard sell when Cyclonic Rift, Austere Command, and Farewell exist at comparable or lower cost with deterministic outcomes. In eternal formats like Legacy and Vintage, the card simply doesn't compete — those formats demand precision and speed that a coin-flip destruction enchantment cannot provide. Pioneer and Modern similarly have no shell where randomized permanent destruction at sorcery speed and six mana is the right answer to anything.

Price Context

Current price

$0.13 bulk tier

At $0.13, Haphazard Bombardment is deep bulk — the price reflects demand, which is near zero. Don't expect that floor to move; this is a card you pick out of a bulk bin for a chaos-themed deck, not one you spec on.
