God-Pharaoh's Faithful drains each opponent for 1 every time you cast a blue, black, or red spell — in a three-player Commander game, that's 3 life per spell before combat math even begins. The body is a 0/4 wall that blocks early aggression, but you're running it because Acererak the Archlich bounces itself repeatedly and each cast triggers the drain.

God-Pharaoh's Faithful is a Commander card through and through — the drain scales with opponent count, so the same spell that pings one player in a duel hits three in a pod. In pauper it's legal and the 0/4 body is legitimately defensive, but without a bounce loop to exploit the trigger, the drain is incidental rather than structural. Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer have access to faster combo infrastructure, but God-Pharaoh's Faithful doesn't show up in those formats because one life per spell doesn't close games at that pace. Play it in Commander, specifically in a shell designed to trigger it repeatedly.

$0.26 bulk tier
At $0.26, God-Pharaoh's Faithful is bulk — pick up as many copies as you need without a second thought. Bulk combo pieces rarely spike unless a new commander mainstreams the loop, so don't expect movement, but at this price it doesn't matter.
