Glamer Spinners swaps the enchantments on two target permanents mid-board, which is a genuinely unique effect — but it's stapled to a 4/4 flash body for six mana with no evasion, and that's where it falls apart. The effect is cute; the rate is not competitive with what Commander tables demand at six mana.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Glamer Spinners is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but sees effectively zero play in any of them. In Commander, the enchantment-swap effect is situationally interesting in Auras-matter builds — think Zur the Enchanter or Tiana, Ship's Caretaker — but six mana for a body with no evasion is a steep ask when dedicated Aura-manipulation exists at lower costs. In Legacy and Modern, Glamer Spinners simply doesn't exist competitively; those formats demand far more efficiency than a six-mana do-nothing threat provides. Oathbreaker is the one context where a flash blocker with a disruptive ETB might sneak into a niche list, but even there it rarely earns a slot.

At $0.13, Glamer Spinners is deep bulk — the price reflects demand, which is near zero. It holds that floor without much risk of movement in either direction.
