Glacial Crevasses stops all combat for a turn by sacrificing a Snow land — a repeatable fog effect stapled to your mana base. The cost is real, but in any Snow-land-heavy shell, you're trading a land drop for a board-stall, and that trade wins games.

In Commander, Glacial Crevasses is a niche but durable tool in Snow-matters or stax builds — commanders like Narset, Enlightened Master or Oloro, Ageless Ascetic that want to survive long enough to close the game will happily pay a Snow land per turn to blank attack steps. Legacy and Vintage are the only other formats where it's legal, and neither has a competitive home for it; the tempo cost of sacrificing a land is too steep in 1v1 where games end fast. Glacial Crevasses is a Commander card through and through, and even there it only belongs in a deck running enough Snow lands to treat the sacrifice as noise rather than a setback.

Pricing data for Glacial Crevasses isn't currently available, which likely reflects its narrow appeal and low reprint count rather than any spike or crash. It's worth checking Scryfall or TCGPlayer directly — as a Ice Age-era card with minimal competitive demand, copies tend to surface cheaply when they surface at all.
