Gaea's Touch lets you play an extra Forest per turn and sacrifice itself to add two green mana — burst acceleration and a land-drop enabler stapled to the same enchantment. Titania, Nature's Force turns every Forest drop into a 5/3 body, making Gaea's Touch a creature factory in that deck; Muldrotha, the Gravetide recasts it from the graveyard after the sacrifice, removing the one-time cost entirely.

In Commander, Gaea's Touch occupies a narrow but real slot in mono-green and Forests-matter decks where land-drop density is the engine, not just a nice bonus. Legacy and Vintage have faster, more reliable acceleration, so Gaea's Touch doesn't compete there outside of niche landfall shells. Pauper is the other format worth noting — it's legal there, and in a format where mana rocks are scarce, a two-mana enchantment that both extends land drops and cashes out for two green mana is genuinely above the curve for green stompy or domain strategies.
