Furyblade Vampire swings for 3 trampling damage as early as turn three, but it demands a discard every attack step to keep that power — miss the discard and it's a 1/1 with trample doing nothing. Run it only if your deck actively wants to pitch cards to the graveyard; otherwise the cost is pure loss.
Format Analysis

Furyblade Vampire is a fringe card across every format it's legal in. In Commander, it slots into madness, reanimator, or Vampire tribal builds where discarding fuels secondary engines — Edgar Markov lists occasionally run it as a discard outlet that also beats. In Modern and Pioneer it's too slow and conditional to compete with dedicated aggro threats that don't punish you for attacking. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a three-mana 3/2. The ceiling is a synergy role-player in graveyard-centric Commander decks; the floor is a vanilla 1/1 that costs three mana.
