Fury Sliver card art
Fury Sliver gives every Sliver you control double strike — a keyword that turns a board of modestly-sized creatures into a lethal swing with no additional mana required. Six mana is real, but in a tribal shell where The First Sliver is cascading into it for free, that cost rarely matters.

The First Sliver

26.0% of decks · synergy 0.24

The First Sliver cascades on every Sliver cast, and Fury Sliver landing off a cascade chain converts an already-wide board into a one-shot threat — double strike means every attacker is effectively dealing its power twice before blockers can matter.

Format Analysis

Commander is where Fury Sliver belongs — the six-mana cost is a liability in faster formats, but tribal synergies and cascade engines make it hit the table ahead of curve often enough to be worth the slot. In Legacy and Vintage, Slivers are occasionally a fringe tribal strategy, but Fury Sliver at six mana competes poorly with the format's speed and is only viable in dedicated shells. Modern Slivers is a real if niche deck, and Fury Sliver is too slow for most lists there — aggressive Sliver builds want their top-end closer to four mana. It's legal in Oathbreaker but has no meaningful home there.

Price Context

Current price

$0.37 bulk tier

At $0.37, Fury Sliver is bulk — straightforward to acquire and cheap to slot into any Sliver build. Bulk tribal staples at this price rarely spike unless the archetype gets a pushed new commander, so treat it as a stable pickup rather than a chase card.
