Frantic Purification destroys a target enchantment — full stop, no conditions, nothing else on the card. Three mana at sorcery speed for single-target enchantment removal is a bad rate, and it belongs in your bulk box unless your meta is drowning in enchantments and you've already run out of better answers.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |

In Commander, Frantic Purification competes against Disenchant, Return to Nature, and Broken Bond — all cheaper, most with upside — so it only sees play when enchantment threats are so dense that you need the fifth or sixth piece of dedicated removal. Pauper is its most plausible home, where the commons card pool is shallower and three-mana enchantment removal occasionally makes the cut in slower, controlling lists. Legacy and Vintage have access to strictly better options at every point on the curve, so Frantic Purification doesn't register in either format.

Price Context
Current price
$0.18 bulk tier
At $0.18, Frantic Purification is bulk — you'll find copies in any common box or draft chaff pile without paying market price. That price reflects its playability accurately and isn't going anywhere.
