Fight with Fire is a flexible burn spell that tops out at dealing 10 damage to any target — creatures, planeswalkers, or players — when you kick it for five extra mana. The unkicked mode is too weak for Commander, but the kicked version is a legitimate finisher that kills commanders, ends games out of nowhere, and demands no setup beyond open mana.

In Commander, Fight with Fire earns its slot in red decks that can generate large mana pools — specifically those running Neheb, the Eternal or similar postcombat ramp, where kicking it is trivially easy and 10 damage to a player ends a life total. In Modern and Pioneer, it's outclassed by cheaper burn that closes games faster, and the five-mana kicker cost is prohibitive in those tempo-driven formats. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient interaction, so Fight with Fire doesn't see real play there. Oathbreaker can reward it in the same big-mana red shells where Commander does.
