Ferocity gives target creature +1/+2 until end of turn for one green mana — a combat trick so narrow that it rarely justifies a deck slot. Unless you're in a dedicated pump-spell shell, cut it for a card that produces lasting board presence.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Ferocity is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but the only format where it sees any real play is Pauper, where cheap combat tricks can steal games in aggressive common-only shells. In Commander, a one-shot +1/+2 rarely moves the needle across a four-player table, and the slot is almost always better spent on a permanent or a spell with wider reach. Legacy and Vintage have access to strictly more powerful options, so Ferocity doesn't register there either.

Price Context
Current price
$0.22 bulk tier
At $0.22, Ferocity sits firmly in bulk territory. Demand is low enough that the price is unlikely to climb — pick it up if a specific Pauper build calls for it, but don't expect it to hold meaningful value.
