Feral Invocation drops a +2/+2 enchantment aura with flash onto any creature at instant speed — solid stat bump, but sorcery-speed removal eating your enchanted creature leaves you down two cards. It's a fine role-player in Pauper aura strategies and flash-synergy builds, but competes poorly anywhere enchantments matter less than efficiency.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| pioneer | legal |

| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Feral Invocation finds its best home in Pauper, where the aura pool is shallow and flash timing creates real combat tricks at common rarity. In Commander it's a steep ask — three mana for +2/+2 with no evasion granted puts it below the baseline unless you're specifically rewarding enchantments or flash, as with commanders like Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir or Siona, Captain of the Pyleas. Legacy, Vintage, and Modern have enough redundancy that Feral Invocation never sees play there — better auras exist at every price point. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: it slots in only if your signature spell or planeswalker demands enchantment density.

Price Context
Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Feral Invocation is deep bulk — you're buying it by the handful for Pauper cube or budget aura synergy packages, not as a single pickup. It won't climb; supply is enormous and demand is narrow.
