Epiphany Storm card art
Epiphany Storm replaces itself immediately and turns any red source into a discount on your next spell — the card-draw is free if you were already casting something cheap. The catch is that it only matters in decks that genuinely abuse the discard-and-redraw loop, which is a narrow slice of Commander.

In Commander, Epiphany Storm earns a slot almost exclusively in Zada, Hedron Grinder or Ardoz, Cobbler of War builds where copying the trigger across a board of tokens generates a massive card advantage engine out of thin air. Outside that axis, red has better cantrips and better looting effects — Epiphany Storm sits in bulk boxes. In Pauper it is legal but too slow and conditional to compete with dedicated red draw spells. Legacy, Vintage, Modern, and Pioneer all have access to strictly more powerful options, and the one-mana enchantment tax buys you nothing you couldn't get from an instant or sorcery that doesn't stick around waiting to be answered.

Price Context

Current price

$0.15 bulk tier

At $0.15, Epiphany Storm is deep bulk — you are paying for cardboard, not scarcity. That price is a ceiling as much as a floor: demand is narrow enough that it will not climb unless a breakout Commander deck brings it into the spotlight.
