End Hostilities is a Commander card through and through — the five-mana slot in 60-card formats is crowded with faster, cheaper options, and sorcery-speed wraths rarely make the cut in Modern or Pioneer where the game ends before turn five matters. Commander is where End Hostilities earns its slot: the ability to also destroy attached Auras and Equipment is a meaningful upgrade over Wrath of God in a format full of Swords, Greaves, and Umbras that would otherwise survive a standard wrath and redeploy immediately.
