Dusk Feaster lands as a 4/4 lifelinker on turn four or five in a graveyard-matters shell — the Undergrowth clause does real work when it resolves. Eight mana without setup is a non-starter in Commander, so this card lives or dies by how consistently you can fill the yard early.
Format Analysis

Dusk Feaster is a Commander card through and through — the longer game and multiplayer graveyards mean Undergrowth counts of six or more are realistic without contorting your build. In Legacy, Modern, or Pioneer, paying eight-minus for a vanilla 4/4 lifelinker is laughably underpowered against the available threats, and no competitive list wants this. Oathbreaker shares enough of Commander's pacing that Dusk Feaster is at least castable, but the smaller deck size makes hitting large Undergrowth counts less reliable.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Dusk Feaster is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not the effect. That price is stable because demand is narrow and supply is abundant; don't expect movement in either direction.
