Dubious Delicacy gives you a Food token and a Clue token for two mana — immediate, tangible value split across two artifact types. The cost is real: it's a one-shot sorcery with no staying power, so it lives or dies by how well your deck exploits those token types.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

Dubious Delicacy is narrow enough that it sees virtually no play outside Commander, where artifact synergy and token-doubling effects make the two-for-one actually matter. In Commander, it slots into Food-matters builds around Gyome, Master Chef or Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, and into Clue-matters shells like Lonis, Cryptozoologist, where each token type feeds a separate engine. In 60-card formats — Modern, Pioneer, Standard — a sorcery-speed two-mana spell that makes two small artifacts is well below the efficiency bar; dedicated artifact or Food strategies have cleaner options. Legacy and Vintage have zero interest in it.

Price Context
Current price
$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Dubious Delicacy is firmly bulk — a throw-in, not a purchase. That price is stable by definition: there's no competitive demand to push it up, and it's widely available enough that it won't disappear.
