Dragon Fangs puts trample and +1/+1 on any creature for two mana, and when the enchanted creature dies it costs just one green to recur it from the graveyard to another creature. It's a fine combat upgrade in graveyard-light builds but genuinely strong in decks that cycle or kill their own creatures repeatedly.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Dragon Fangs earns its slot in decks that want persistent auras — the recur trigger means a single copy keeps coming back every time your creature trades in combat, which compounds quickly over a long game. Pauper is where Dragon Fangs sees its most competitive play, showing up in recursive creature shells that can exploit the graveyard loop at common rarity. Legacy and Vintage are legal but irrelevant — the effect is too low-impact for those formats. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: situationally useful, rarely a priority.

Price Context
Current price
$0.24 bulk tier
At $0.24, Dragon Fangs is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and postage, not the card. Bulk commons don't appreciate, so pick it up when you need it and don't think twice about the cost.
