Doomed Artisan puts a Sculpture token into play for every creature your opponents control — an engine that scales directly with the board state and feeds sacrifice outlets, clone effects, and token doublers all at once. The catch is the static ability that locks your Sculptures out of attacking and blocking until the Artisan itself dies, which means you need a plan to cash it in. In Esix, Fractal Bloom decks, that plan already exists, and this card earns its slot immediately.

Doomed Artisan is a Commander card through and through — the multiplayer environment guarantees opponents have creatures, so the engine turns on immediately and scales with table size. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but sees no competitive play; two-mana do-nothings that require their own death to unlock are not where those formats want to be. Commander is where the card actually functions: token doublers, sacrifice loops, and commanders that care about artifacts or Fractals all give the Artisan a real home.
