Disposal Mummy enters and exiles a card from any graveyard — a relevant effect stapled to a 2/3 body for three mana. The rate is unimpressive, but in formats or decks that need incidental graveyard hate on a creature, it pulls its weight.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Disposal Mummy is a niche inclusion — graveyard hate is valuable, but three mana for a single exile trigger rarely clears the bar when Scavenger Grounds or Rest in Peace do more for less. Pauper is where Disposal Mummy is most credible, since the card-type restriction means you're working with a limited hate package and a body that blocks matters more. In Modern and Legacy, the competition is too steep — Leyline of the Void and Relic of Progenitus are simply better tools for the job. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: fine in a Zombie tribal build that needs the creature type, redundant otherwise.

Price Context
Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Disposal Mummy is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and shipping, not the card itself. That price is stable because demand is narrow; don't expect movement in either direction.
