Commander is where Deathreap Ritual belongs — multiplayer games guarantee that creatures die constantly across four players, and morbid triggers fire on anyone's end step, not just yours. The four-mana cost is acceptable in a format where games go long and a single card that draws over five or six turns generates massive value.
