Daring Piracy converts every combat damage hit to an opponent into a permanent Treasure, turning a wide attack into an accelerating mana engine on the spot. At two mana it slots cleanly under Breath of Fury loops and gives Admiral Beckett Brass decks a second reason to keep attacking — the gold stacks whether or not you steal anything.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Admiral Beckett Brass
Admiral Beckett Brass wants to connect with three Pirates every combat, and Daring Piracy means every successful hit also banks Treasure, so a single attack swing both pressures opponents toward theft triggers and floats mana for the following turn.

Goro-Goro and Satoru
Goro-Goro and Satoru rewards attacking with hasty creatures by creating Dragon tokens, and Daring Piracy layers Treasure generation on top of the same combat damage triggers — every hit that makes a Dragon also makes mana.

Breeches, Brazen Plunderer // Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator
Breeches, Brazen Plunderer // Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator already incentivizes dealing combat damage to opponents, and Daring Piracy stacks a Treasure on each connection alongside whatever Malcolm and Breeches generate, compounding the reward for a single swing.

Ognis, the Dragon's Lash
Ognis, the Dragon's Lash produces a Treasure for each hasty creature that attacks, and Daring Piracy adds another layer by rewarding combat damage dealt — in a haste-heavy build those triggers often fire in the same attack step.
Format Analysis

| pioneer | not legal |

| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Daring Piracy is Commander-only in practice — it's legal in Legacy and Vintage but no competitive shell there wants a three-turn enchantment that asks you to deal combat damage to get Treasure. In Commander the card earns its slot specifically in Pirate and combat-damage tribal builds where multiple attackers fire the trigger simultaneously, turning one enchantment into a ramp engine spread across the table. Outside those archetypes it's too slow and too combat-dependent to justify over faster Treasure producers.

$0.38 bulk tier
At $0.38, Daring Piracy is bulk — pick it up without thinking about the price. Demand is narrow enough that it's unlikely to spike, which means it stays accessible for any Pirate player who wants it.
