Curse of Oblivion mills four cards from a target opponent every upkeep — repeating, enchantment-based pressure that requires no further mana investment after it lands. It's narrow enough that most decks won't bother, but Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor turns every Curse into an engine piece, which makes this one worth sleeving.

Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor
Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor redirects Curses to opponents when those opponents die and draws a card whenever a Curse is attached to an opponent, so Curse of Oblivion serves double duty: it mills a target while feeding Lynde's card advantage loop every single upkeep.

Curse of Oblivion is a Commander card through and through — the slow, cumulative mill it provides is irrelevant in Legacy, Vintage, or even Pauper, where games end too fast for four cards a turn to matter. In Commander, 100-card libraries and multiplayer politics give it room to breathe, especially in dedicated Curses builds where it's part of a suite rather than a lone finisher. Outside of Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor or similarly Curse-synergistic commanders, it's still too slow to earn a slot over more impactful enchantments.

$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Curse of Oblivion is deep bulk — you'll find it in any commons box at your local game store without thinking twice. Bulk enchantments with narrow applications don't appreciate, so treat this as a penny pickup for the specific decks that want it and nothing more.
