Crown of Fury gives a creature first strike and +1/+0, then bounces itself to another creature you control at end of combat — one enchantment doing the work of several, as long as you have the board to keep passing it. It earns a slot in go-wide red decks and nowhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Crown of Fury is a niche piece in token-heavy red strategies — Krenko, Mob Boss and Isshin, Two Heavens as One shells that field enough bodies to chain the bounce effect into a meaningful first-strike advantage across multiple attackers. Pauper is its most competitive home, where the enchantment's recursive nature stretches single-card value further than the format's removal density expects. Legacy and Vintage are legal on paper, but Crown of Fury doesn't come close to the power threshold either format demands. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: playable only if your signature spell and planeswalker support a wide attack plan.

Price Context
Current price
$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Crown of Fury is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a commons box, not a store page. Don't expect that number to move; demand is too narrow and supply too abundant for any price pressure to build.
