Crevasse makes all creatures with mountainwalk unblockable against opponents who control Mountains — a one-card lock if your deck is built around that keyword. It's a narrow enchantment that does nothing outside a dedicated mountainwalk strategy, so it earns its slot only in the exact shell that needs it.

Crevasse is a Commander card in practice, and only barely — it belongs in the niche of red mountainwalk aggro decks where the enchantment turns a battlefield of Mountains into a guaranteed open lane. Legacy and Vintage legality is technically true but irrelevant; no competitive list wants a do-nothing enchantment when evasion can be stapled directly to creatures. In Commander, the four-player table and prevalence of red and dual lands with the Mountain subtype give Crevasse marginally more targets to exploit, but it still requires you to build around it rather than slot it in generically.

Price Context
Current price
$1.52 cheap tier
At $1.52, Crevasse sits in the bulk-rare tier — cheap enough that the price is never the reason to skip it. Demand is too narrow for it to appreciate, so treat it as a flat $1–2 pickup and nothing more.
