Communal Brewing

Enchantment

When this enchantment enters, any number of target opponents each draw a card. Put an ingredient counter on this enchantment, then put an ingredient counter on it for each card drawn this way.
Whenever you cast a creature spell, that creature enters with X additional +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the number of ingredient counters on this enchantment.

Communal Brewing card art
Communal Brewing hands every opponent a copy of the spell you cast, which sounds ruinous until you realize the card it's built around — Cryptic Trilobite — produces mana for the caster and nothing for anyone else. In Ms. Bumbleflower decks, the symmetry is the point: pile on spells that benefit you disproportionately and watch the gift economy collapse into your win condition.

Ms. Bumbleflower

Ms. Bumbleflower

43.7% of decks · synergy 0.37

Ms. Bumbleflower is the defining home for Communal Brewing — she rewards casting spells for opponents while her own engine generates the mana and value that makes the "symmetry" entirely one-sided.

02
Muerra, Trash Tactician

Muerra, Trash Tactician

25.9% of decks · synergy 0.25

Muerra, Trash Tactician wants to flood the table with activity, and Communal Brewing fits cleanly into that gameplan by turning every spell into a multiplayer event that Muerra can exploit before opponents can capitalize on the gift.

03
Clement, the Worrywort

Clement, the Worrywort

20.2% of decks · synergy 0.19

Clement, the Worrywort cares about casting noncreature spells repeatedly, and Communal Brewing amplifies every cast into a table-wide trigger that Clement's engine converts into outsized advantage.

04

Communal Brewing is a Commander card through and through — its design only makes sense at a four-player table where giving opponents copies of your spells creates political texture and engine opportunities that simply don't exist in a duel. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but has no competitive application; the effect is too slow, too expensive at two mana for a do-nothing enchantment in a format that ends on turn one or two. Oathbreaker is the one other format where Communal Brewing could see play, since the multiplayer structure mirrors Commander closely enough to make the symmetry exploitable.

Price Context

Current price

$2.09 cheap tier

At $2.09, Communal Brewing sits in the impulse-buy tier — cheap enough to throw into any Ms. Bumbleflower build without deliberation. Demand is narrowly concentrated in its combo homes, so the price is stable rather than climbing, but it won't drop meaningfully either given its near-mandatory inclusion rate in those decks.
