Circle of Protection: Artifacts lets you pay one white mana to prevent all damage from any single artifact source each turn — repeatable, on demand, and cheap to activate. Two mana to cast is fair for what it does, but the effect is narrow enough that it only earns a slot when your meta is thick with artifact-based aggression or combo damage.

In Commander, Circle of Protection: Artifacts is a fringe sideboard-style answer to artifact-heavy tables — the kind where Darksteel Colossus or artifact creature tokens are swinging for lethal every turn. Legacy and Vintage have the tools to make artifact damage relevant enough that CoP: Artifacts could theoretically see fringe play, but those formats move too fast for a two-mana enchantment that doesn't affect the board state. Across every legal format, the card sits in the same spot: narrow protection that only justifies itself when the threat you're protecting against is both common and damage-based.

Pricing data isn't currently available for Circle of Protection: Artifacts, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for current buylist and market figures. Given its niche utility and age, copies typically show up in bulk bins — it's the kind of card you pick up for pennies if you need it, not one worth hunting down at any meaningful price.
