Cho-Arrim Bruiser turns your life total into a threat multiplier — creatures you control get +1/+1 for each 1 life you pay, paid as the Bruiser enters, with no cap on the ceiling. Seven mana is a real ask, but the pump is permanent and can push a wide board into lethal range in one swing.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| vintage | legal |

Commander is the only format where Cho-Arrim Bruiser is realistically worth sleeving. Lifegain commanders — Oloro, Ageless Ascetic; Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim; Dina, Soul Steeper — can stockpile enough life to make the pump backbreaking, and the singleton format means the seven-mana investment is easier to justify as a one-shot closer. Legacy and Vintage have the card legal but zero competitive application; the cost and effect are both wrong for those formats. Outside of Commander, this card doesn't exist.

Price Context
Current price
$0.48 bulk tier
At $0.48, Cho-Arrim Bruiser sits firmly in bulk territory — easy to pick up, easy to cut without remorse. The price is unlikely to move unless a breakout lifegain commander pushes demand, which hasn't happened in the card's decades of existence.
