Brilliant Halo card art
Brilliant Halo keeps coming back — when the enchanted creature dies, you return it to your hand, giving you a repeatable +1/+2 pump for as long as you keep replaying it. The cost is card slots and mana tempo, which makes it genuinely good only in decks that generate value from re-equipping auras, like Danitha Capashen, Paragon builds that reduce its cost to nothing.

Format Analysis

oathbreaker

Brilliant Halo is a Pauper-playable aura with a real niche: recursive Aura strategies that want a cheap, self-replacing buff. In Commander, it slots into Voltron commanders who care about enchantments or reduce aura costs, where the recursion clause turns a normally card-negative card type into a loop. Legacy and Vintage are legal but functionally irrelevant — Brilliant Halo isn't touching those formats outside kitchen-table games. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: narrow but functional in the right shell.

$0.15 bulk tier

At $0.15, Brilliant Halo is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not scarcity. That price is stable by nature; there's no spike risk and no trajectory to watch.
