Bounding Felidar card art
Bounding Felidar enters, untaps a permanent, and attacks the same turn — that's a blinkable, beatstick-shaped engine piece at four mana. In Arahbo, the First Fang specifically, that combination of flash-speed body and untap trigger makes it one of the cleaner value plays in the archetype.

Arahbo, the First Fang

Arahbo, the First Fang

30.6% of decks · synergy 0.30

Arahbo, the First Fang wants Bounding Felidar because the untap trigger pairs directly with Arahbo's tap-based eminence ability, letting you generate value and attack in the same sequence without jumping through hoops.

02

Ajani, Nacatl Pariah

26.6% of decks · synergy 0.26

Ajani, Nacatl Pariah runs Bounding Felidar as a Cat body that does real work on entry — the untap flexibility lines up with go-wide and combat-trick strategies the deck already wants.

Format Analysis

Bounding Felidar is legal across Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Standard, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but Commander is where it actually shows up. In 60-card formats it's too slow and too narrow — four mana for a 3/4 that untaps one permanent doesn't compete with the efficiency those formats demand. Commander is the right home: the single-copy constraint doesn't hurt a card that shines as a flicker target or a value piece in Cat tribal, and the longer game gives the untap trigger room to matter.

Price Context

Current price

$0.16 bulk tier

At $0.16, Bounding Felidar is deep bulk — pick it up in any common box without thinking twice. Bulk Cat tribal pieces rarely spike unless something pushes the archetype into the spotlight, so don't expect movement, but at this price there's no reason not to own a copy.
