Bloodshed Fever gives a creature reckless attack — it must attack each combat if able — which is a liability you're slapping on an opponent's blocker, not a buff you're handing your own team. At one mana, it's a pseudo-removal spell in aggressive red strategies that need a specific creature out of the way, though the effect is narrow enough that most decks want actual removal instead.

Bloodshed Fever is a fringe card in every format it touches. In Commander, it finds its best home in goad-style decks that want to disrupt opponents' combat math — forcing a key blocker to attack each turn is meaningful when the table is already chaotic. In Pauper, one-mana auras that don't impact the board state directly are almost never worth a card, and Bloodshed Fever doesn't clear that bar for any established archetype. Legacy and Vintage have so many better one-mana options that Bloodshed Fever simply doesn't compete. Treat it as a niche Commander piece and nothing more.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Bloodshed Fever is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not the effect. That price reflects its narrow application accurately and is unlikely to move without a Commander printing that makes forced-attack strategies suddenly ubiquitous.
