Bestial Bloodline card art
Bestial Bloodline puts a persistent token-generating engine on any creature you control — tap it, get a Beast, repeat every turn. The real ceiling is Mind Over Matter, which turns any card in hand into a free activation and collapses the cost entirely.

Bestial Bloodline is a Commander card through and through — the slow, cumulative value of a repeatable token generator only pays off in a 40-life, multi-turn game where your enchanted creature survives long enough to matter. In competitive one-on-one formats like Modern or Pioneer, one tap ability per turn cycle is far too slow to compete, and the three-mana enchantment with no immediate impact won't make any serious list. Legacy and Vintage move faster than Bestial Bloodline can ever hope to catch up. Pauper is where it gets mildly interesting, but even there, three mana for a do-nothing enchantment is a hard sell when you need to stay alive.

Price Context

Current price

$0.10 bulk tier

At $0.10, Bestial Bloodline is pure bulk — you'll find it in a bulk bin or throw it in as a throw-in trade. At that price point there's no financial risk, and it's unlikely to spike unless a powerful new Commander pushes the token-on-tap gameplan into the spotlight.
