Back from the Brink card art
Back from the Brink turns every creature in your graveyard into a repeatable token factory — pay its mana cost, exile it, get a copy that attacks the same turn it enters. Six mana is a real ask for an enchantment with no immediate impact, so it earns its slot only in decks that fill the graveyard fast and win through creature volume.

Back from the Brink is a Commander card through and through — the long game, multiplayer pressure, and graveyard-centric archetypes all give it room to generate absurd value over several turns. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but irrelevant; six mana enchantments that don't win immediately have no place in formats measured in three-turn clocks. Oathbreaker could support it in the right shell, but the 20-life starting total compresses the window where a slow enchantment is acceptable. Stick to Commander.

Price Context

Current price

$0.23 bulk tier

At $0.23, Back from the Brink is pure bulk — easy to pick up in any trade binder or cheap online order without a second thought. The price reflects limited reprint history rather than power level, so it's unlikely to spike unless it lands in a precon or Commander-focused product.
