In Commander, Architects of Will earns its slot in artifact-matters and cycling-matters shells — the cycling triggers Astral Slide, Drake Haven, and similar payoffs while the enters-the-battlefield ability provides soft disruption by rearranging an opponent's graveyard or top-deck. In Pauper, it sees occasional play in cycling combo and reanimator builds where common artifact creatures with free triggers are genuinely scarce. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient cyclers and graveyard interaction, so Architects of Will barely registers in those formats.
