Anti-Magic Aura makes the enchanted creature immune to all spells and abilities — a powerful protection effect — stapled to a three-mana blue Aura with all the usual Aura downside: if the creature dies in response to the cast, you've lost two cards for nothing. It's the right effect in the wrong package for most competitive tables.

Anti-Magic Aura sees the most plausible play in Commander, where protecting a key creature — especially a commander — against targeted removal, counterspells, and activated abilities has real value. The problem is that Commander tables pack enough instant-speed removal that the Aura's sorcery-speed cast is a liability; hexproof equipment and flash-speed protection spells do the same job more safely. In Pauper, where the card pool is constrained, Anti-Magic Aura is technically legal but rarely sees play over Auras that provide evasion or pump alongside protection. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient protection tools, so it doesn't register in either format.

Price Context
Current price
$0.95 bulk tier
At $0.95, Anti-Magic Aura sits at the top of the bulk tier — more than its gameplay demand justifies. It's not a card with consistent demand drivers, so there's no reason to expect that price to hold as supply circulates.
