Anarchy wipes every white, blue, and black permanent your opponents control — not just creatures, not just enchantments, everything — for four mana at sorcery speed. It's a one-sided board reset in any mono-red or Rakdos shell where you expect to see Swords to Plowshares, Rhystic Study, and Teferi in the same game.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is where Anarchy does its best work — four-player tables almost always include at least two players in white or blue, and wiping their permanents while leaving yours untouched can single-handedly swing a game. Legacy and Vintage both allow it, but the card sees essentially no play there; resolving a four-mana sorcery in those formats is a steep ask and the effect doesn't line up with the threats that matter. Outside those three formats, Anarchy is not legal.

Price Context
Current price
$2.24 cheap tier
At $2.24, Anarchy sits in a comfortable budget tier for what it does — narrow enough that demand stays low, which keeps the price flat. It's not a card that spikes, but it's also not one you'll find in a bulk bin; print runs were small enough that copies stay modestly scarce.
