Abnormal Endurance card art
Abnormal Endurance gives a creature a second life — it dies, comes back until end of turn, then dies again, generating two death triggers off one creature. The catch is that the creature won't stick around, so pair it with a free sac outlet like Viscera Seer to cash in the second death on demand rather than waiting for cleanup.

Commander is where Abnormal Endurance earns its slot, specifically in aristocrats decks that want to double-dip on death triggers — think Zulaport Cutthroat pings, Dictate of Erebos edict effects, or reanimator value looped through a single creature. Outside Commander, it sees virtually no competitive play: faster formats like Modern and Legacy have cheaper, more powerful alternatives for death-trigger abuse, and Pauper is the one context where its budget price point makes it a plausible fringe piece in sacrifice synergy shells. It's a narrow card, but in the right Commander shell it does exactly what it says on the tin.

$0.15 bulk tier

At $0.15, Abnormal Endurance is pure bulk — cheap enough to throw in any aristocrats list without a second thought. Bulk commons rarely appreciate unless they break into a competitive format, and nothing about this card's role suggests that's coming.
