One with the Kami + Skullclamp + Skirge Familiar
3-card combo · BG
Verdict
Yes — this 3-card loop generates infinite card draw and a near-infinite token army as long as a 1-toughness creature is on board to seed it.

Skullclamp kills any 1-toughness creature for 1 mana, One with the Kami replaces it with a swarm of 1/1 Spirit tokens, and Skullclamp draws two cards to feed Skirge Familiar the discard fuel to pay for the next equip activation. The loop runs on its own tokens — each Spirit has 1 toughness, so One with the Kami's host creature keeps producing the next sacrificial target. Black-green sacrifice shells and token engines centered on commanders like Meren of Clan Nel Toth or Izoni, Thousand-Eyed are the natural homes.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
You control a creature with toughness equal to one, except the creature with One with the Kami attached.
02
Steps
- Activate Skullclamp's equip ability by paying
, attaching it to a creature with toughness equal to one, except the creature with One with the Kami attached.
- The creature dies as a state based action due to having zero or less toughness, triggering One with the Kami and Skullclamp.
- Resolve the One with the Kami trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Spirit creature tokens equal to the creature's power.
- Resolve the Skullclamp trigger, causing you to draw two cards.
- Activate Skirge Familiar by discarding a card, adding
.
- Repeat.

Result
Infinite card draw; Infinite draw triggers; Near-infinite creature tokens; Near-infinite death triggers; Near-infinite ETB; Near-infinite LTB; Near-infinite sacrifice triggers; Near-infinite self-discard triggers
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Any 1-toughness creature on board at the start bootstraps the first iteration; after that the Spirits sustain the loop indefinitely, so the setup cost is lower than it looks. Altar of Dementia or Phyrexian Altar can sub in for Skirge Familiar as the mana source if discard is a liability, though Skirge requires no additional pieces beyond the three listed. The near-infinite tokens close the game immediately with any damage-based payoff already on board — Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, or Goblin Bombardment all end it on the same turn the loop starts.
